I’m Craig Maynard, organizer and host of Core Memory Concerts. I’m a former musician and a devoted fan of chamber music in all its forms. I believe that live performances are the best way to experience this wonderful musical genre.

Many concerts take place in crowded halls with cramped, uncomfortable seating. I find it difficult to relax and appreciate music under these conditions so I decided to try a different approach. In September 2017, I began hosting informal concerts in my southern Rhode Island home.

My concerts are designed for comfort and sociability, with ample opportunity to chat with other guests, enjoy a drink during the performance, and meet the artists afterwards. These evening concerts have been fascinating and deeply satisfying for everyone who attends. I hope you’ll join us at a concert soon!

One more thing..

In early 2019, I was a guest on Conducting Conversations, a weekly radio show produced by Mike Maino for WCRI Classical 95.9. The one-hour show featured an interview and a selection of music by Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, and Samuel Barber. The show was broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019.
